She can now sit up unassisted for a couple of moments and can stand while holding on to Mama's hands. The biggest news of late is that Macy has now devoured two solid foods. She has eaten squash (her first) and now green beans. She eats rice cereal and pretty much anything that moves. I am very proud of my little turtle. She has also earned her jungle name. Batatamus as she has a tendency to shake her junk in the trunk. My girls complete me and this one reminds me of how fragile emotions can be when you see your own be successful at the little things.

Here is some of the latest proof:

She's So Lovely

The Innocent

The Best Gene Simmons

As Cool As Dad

Fudz the giggler

Yes kids it is true we have a singing squeeking baby. Who is to say. She is clobbering the world in her Jumperoo lately. She's a madwoman - flailin and thrashin. She gets quite a laugh out of it. Macy had her first Christmas and I think she really enjoyed it. She sat in the rocking swing Christmas morning and stared at a stuff bear, laughed, slept, drooled and sqwuaked. She watched us open presents and Cali helped her open hers. She has been able to sleep long stretches in the night now and wakes once for a feeding. But most importantly......

She laughs a lot more. Jen and I think she will have a husky voice. She makes wierd noises and is in love with her voice. The Fudz and Munx show - never ending - Whoohoo.

MACY FOUND HER FEET!. Yesterday Jen said that she was grabbing on to her feet which means that it wont be long now until everything can be grabbed and chewed. She can grab toys and loves this crab noisy shaky thing and her stuffed cat named sasha...

All in all she is becoming more and more her own. A hoot of sorts. I love her more every day.

The Calm after the storm

I have felt the entire spectrum of emotion with Macy in the last couple of weeks. She has broken me into the rawest form of sadness and she has made me the happiest in regards to her being. I looked into her eyes last night and she possesses the same gift that my other daughter Cali keeps. You look into their eyes and they contain magic. The magic of possibility and hope. Macy gave me hope last night where some was disintegrating. She smiled at me more yesterday then she has her whole life, so far combined. It warms my heart, that there is the possibility that the aggravation and discomfort that she has been experiencing might be over. I love you fudz and your yum - yum toes.

how Sweet she is

Macy is becoming quite the character with a sly smile and a very cute snuggle move. She nuzzles real close to your throat under your chin and kinda huffs and puffs then starts breathing slowly and nuzzles ya until your asleep. She fell asleep on me the other night on my chest and I felt like someone had just dropped the warmest little bear on top of me. She likes me and I love her. The fudz has made the first 11 weeks quite a challenge and I will admit I thought that her unhappiness was never going to end. Her grumpola face is cracking more often now and her smiles appear sporadically, without an hour of probing. I love how Jen is with her....I know it must be very difficult at times and I hope that she knows I think the world of her and that Macy is a beatiful present I can never repay her for. My amazing and supernatural wife did an amazing job and prove the world wrong by bringing into this world something as beautiful as our first daughter, our second daughter - Macy Soleil Clements. She was 8 pounds * ounces and full of squeeks. I like that name for her - She probably wont but it is exactly what she was doing.

Jen and her were so beautiful and when Munx(Cali) got told that her baby sister finally had arrived. It was like the shine of christmas paled in comparison. Cali takes being a big sister very seriously and is very good at it. I love them both very much. Here are some pictures of Macy;

A mind blowing experience

Hello Everyone. Jen and i just witness a mondern day miracle. We went to UC Baby.ca to get a 3D ultrasound of Macy Soleil. It was wonderful. We got to see an hour of Macy's life. Stretching, breathing, blinking sucking her thumb. I can not begin to tell you as a Dad how much that meant to me. I can never feel like a Mom would feel during her pregnancy but I sure got to see it more realistically for the first time. Here is a snippet of what we saw. Enjoy.

A long time coming

This is my first post in regards to Macy Soleil Clements. She is my unborn daughter, due to the world on September 10, 2004. Both Jen and I are very excited. Macy has been rather different then Cali during the pregnancy. Macy is a lot more subdued. And she has no aversion to popcorn and does not want to eat as much as Cali did in the womb. She was a lot harder on Jen in the beginning. A lot more of a struggle. But now Mom and Macy are breezy and looking fantastic. She is measuring 1wk and a half bigger then her date makes her out to be - so another biggin'. She also has been detected through her heartbeat to be a very happy baby. Yeah Yeah! Cali and Macy have gotten quite close. Cali gives Jens belly Kisses and a week ago when Cali rested her head on Jens belly, Macy kicked her. She knew she was there. Cali also wants to be the best big sister ever and tells other people. I really am very lucky to be surrounded by Jen and Cali and I can not imagine another one as beautiful and cute and delightful.....But it's coming.
